I love the couple that own this place! They also took very good care of each cabin and even had trash services which is really nice for a rental in the area!
We have been staying here every year on a average at least 2 to 3 times every year since 2015.....the owners Ron and Nancy have always been kind....polite....and treat us very well. Prices of course were very reasonable and easy on " vacation budget planning" clean always...small but very comfortable cabins Unfortunately they told us this past June at a family reunion we had there that they were selling the cabins and adjacent property!! Just found out this past Wednesday..the sale went through...and now the new owner or owners are only going to " RENT THEM OUT ON A MONTHLY BASIS" HE is not a very empathetic guy as he would not honor any reservations Ron and Nancy already had going until this December 2021....she had to call all their booked reservations and tell them she had to cancel them !! What a @$$ /whoever the new owner is ....he could have waited until January 2022 to do this to all those people
Ron and Nancy have created a home away from home. The cabins were maticulssly clean with updated 2017 ammenties (WiFi/cable). The community fire pit (wood provided) was the creme dela creme. It allowed us to meet some wonderful people from all over. It was great to come back (home) after the days adventure and sit by a glowing warm fire. Thanks again Ron and Nancy for the great hospitality and perfect vacation setting.
